Leading the charge is Samsung’s Galaxy S23 series, which is slated to be the first to receive the One UI 6 update. This reveal is expected to happen at the Samsung Developer Conference (SDC) 2023 in October, but selected models, including the S23 series, will have the privilege of testing the OS before its official release.
The One UI 6 update, powered by Android 14, will first rollout to the following Samsung Galaxy devices:- Galaxy S23 Series – S23, S23 Plus, and S23 Ultra- Galaxy S22 Series – S22, S22 Plus, and S22 Ultra- Galaxy S21 Series – S21, S21 Plus, and S21 Ultra- Galaxy Z Fold Series – Z Fold 5 and Z Fold 4- Galaxy Z Flip Series – Z Flip 5 and Z Flip 4These selections predominantly feature flagship devices, which is unsurprising as Samsung typically prioritizes newer flagships, followed by older flagship models and mid-range ones. Select budget models will also be included in this update rollout, offering a broad spectrum of Samsung users the opportunity to experience the new software.
