Samsung Unveils Galaxy F54 5G: A New Exciting Addition to Mid Range Smartphones

The Samsung Galaxy F54, an anticipated new addition to Samsung’s smartphone lineup, has finally made its debut. With an expected release in June 2023 at 27,999 Rs price point in India, the tech community is buzzing about its impressive specifications and features.

The Good: Good and capable Processor, SuperAmoled FHD Screen, Feature rich good Camera, 6000mah large Battery, India’s own NavIC satelite navigation support, 4 to 5 years of software updates.

The Bad?: Plastic Body and Frame.

The Galaxy F54 operates on as expected 5G network and dual SIM, making it a perfect fit for users seeking high-speed internet and seamless connectivity. Its dimensions are 164.9 x 77.3 x 8.4 mm, and it weighs in at 199g. The build includes a glass front, but a plastic back and a plastic frame as expected in this price point, offering a sleek and modern aesthetics.

Its Super AMOLED Plus display, with a refresh rate of 120Hz, is certainly one of the key highlights. The screen spans 6.7 inches, offering users a wide and clear viewing experience with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a ~393 ppi density.

The Galaxy F54 runs on Android 13 with Samsung’s proprietary One UI 5.1. Under the hood. Samsung has promised 4 years of main software and 5 years of security patches updates for sure, which means Mid 2027 to 2028 F54 will not be outdated. It’s powered by an inhouse Exynos 1380 (5 nm) chipset (which is comparable to Snapdragon 778G in performance) an octa-core CPU which can easily deliver smooth and fast user experience.
