OpenAI has made its in-house Code Interpreter plugin available to all its ChatGPT Plus subscribers. This powerful tool could potentially disrupt the job market for data scientists due to its diverse capabilities. ChatGPT was a breakthrough in artificial intelligence with its human-like comprehension and communication skills. The addition of plugins, including the recently released Code Interpreter, only bolsters its usefulness and breadth of application.

The Code Interpreter plugin enables the AI to execute code, generate charts, analyze data, perform complex mathematical operations, manipulate files, and more. Some believe this could lead to a decrease in demand for human data scientists.
